WiQuest Enables Wireless USB PIN Association Method

Wireless USB devices are soon going to be widely available and will cut the cables that make a mess of our offices and computer desks. Before we know it we will be connecting devices like our digital cameras, MP3 players, printers and more to our computers without any cables for transferring data to and from the computer and device.
WiQuest is one of the leading technology companies working with Wireless USB hardware and specifications. Today WiQuest announced that it has enabled a new Wireless USB PIN association method that is designed to allow low cost devices without a USB cable, USB port or display to connect to a host PC via Wireless USB.
The PIN association method allows the entering of a PIN number into a host PC to complete the Wireless USB association. The PIN number can be up to 28 characters long, providing enterprise level security and 128-bits of entropy. This method of pairing seems to be very similar to how we pair Bluetooth devices to computers and other electronic devices today.
