Many PC gamers don’t realize that EA’s Sims series of video games is one of the most popular video game franchises around. The Sims series of games sell more copies than most MMORPGs or shooters could ever dream of.

The first of the EA Sims games to hit the Nintendo Wii console was called MySims. EA has announced that MySims is being ported from the Wii to the PC and will get new and exclusive content for the PC version.

The MySims game works much like any other Sims game where you get to build your character, home, and city from the ground up. The game has content that is unlocked as the game progresses and you build relationships with friends and neighbors. The PC version of the game will also get new online features like hide-and-seek and tag as well as new characters. MySims is set to hit the PC sometime in October.
