When I hear the name Bic I think of throw away razors and lighters. I still remember the flick your Bic spots that came on before movies at the theater when I was a kid. Bic is now getting into a new market with a line of disposable cell phones that are even colored like the razors Bic makes.

The Bic phone is from the gang at Orange, which most likely means not available in the United States. The phone comes with 60 minutes of calls ready to go, power in the battery and a Sim card in place. As soon as the phone is open you are ready to call and text people.

The Bic phone can make and receive calls as well as SMS and text messages. What’s not clear to me is if you can recharge the phone when the battery goes dead. I guess you can since you can add more minutes to the phone with a mobicarte refill card. The phone will retail for £40.00, which is roughly $80 here in America.
