Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman Phone is Packed with Features

I was a kid in the 1980’s and when you say the word Walkman to me it still conjures up images of big, yellow “portable” cassette tape players that I used to see people wearing when they power walked around my neighborhood with those white socks with the stripes pulled up around their knees. It’s hard to get the image out of my mind even though the cassette tape is as defunct as HD DVD.
The latest product in the Walkman line is thankfully not bright yellow and can’t play cassette tapes. It’s a new music phone from Sony Ericsson called the W902 Walkman phone. The phone includes an 8GB Memory Stick card for storing tracks, which is enough space for around 8000 songs on average.
The W902 can playback video and also features fast forward to fantastic sound, clear sound, a 5-megapixel camera that can shoot stills and video and a 2.2-inch QVGA LCD with mineral glass rather than plastic covering it. The phone operates on UTMS/HSDPA 2100 networks as well as GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/800/1800/1900 networks. The W902 will be available in black, red, and green in Q4 at an undisclosed price.
