 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

I am a big car fan and since I saw the first pics of the 2010 Chevy Camaro, I have wanted one badly. I really liked the previous generation Camaro and was sad to see it discontinued. I was happy to see the new Camaro design with its 60’s looks and now the car is almost here.

Motor Trend has a first look at the Camaro and says that both the V6 and V8 Camaro’s will be available from the launch, which is slated for early 2009. The V6 version will come in two trim levels — LS and LT. The V8 Camaro will be badged as an SS. Motor trend says all Camaro’s will look like the RS in the image here.

 Dash Express GPS

Anyone who has used a GPS device knows that the worst part about GPS navigation is out of date maps. Most all GPS devices offer some method of updating the maps be it with DVDs or taking the GPS unit inside and connecting it to your computer. These methods each have some degree of bother to them.

Dash Navigation has become the first GPS maker to offer wireless over-the-air updates for its GPS system. The Dash Express gets the ability to receive wireless updates over-the-air via Wi-Fi. That means that users can apply updates for features and maps simply by turning the Dash Express on.

Escort Announces New Radar Detector with GPS Safety Camera Database

 Encore Passport 9500ix Radar Detector

One of the things I recall most about my youth was every time I went anywhere in the car with my dad he had his radar detector on. It seemed like every time we passed a store with automatic doors or a bird flying overhead broke wind the thing went off. I never understood how it was useful with its constant beeping with 90% of the time no policeman in view.

What my dad needed is the new Escort Passport 9500ix. The detector not only promises a virtually false alarm free existence, it also features GPS so it can tell you where traffic cameras are near you. The safety camera database will be updated continually from Escort and updates for the first 90 days after purchase are included in the 9500ix’s $499 MSRP.
