Aside from the on-screen keyboard of my iPhone the thing I dislike most is the battery life. If I watch YouTube videos for an hour or so the battery is nearly dead. If you have the same problem with your iPhone or want to get more music and video playback from your iPod, i.Sound has come to the rescue. i.Sound has announced a new 2-in-1 Charger & Battery Back Up solution that is compatible with the first generation iPhone, the coming iPhone 3G and all iPod’s using the 30-pin connector. The battery looks pretty cool and features LEDs on the front to show at a glance how much battery life is remaining. |

Bluetooth headsets are strange little devices to me. I can see the use for them, especially in the states where hands free laws are in effect. At the same time I think that many of the people who wear them around when they could just as easily put the phone to their ears look like total dorks. Despite that I have used Bluetooth headsets when driving before and if you are in a state with recently enacted hands free laws i.Tech has a new Bluetooth handset that may be perfect for you. The i.VoicePRO Bluetooth headset is the first Bluetooth headset on the market to use both Bluetooth Profile v2.1 and dual microphones. |

Each and every time something like this happens the first thing a pet owner says is how did the dog/cat manage to make this sort of mess. There are probably lots of electronics devices in your home right now that you think are turned off that are actually consuming power. Like your LCD TV, printer or computer display to name a few. This is often called phantom power, and are devices that draw power constantly even though they are not in use. There is one easy way to stop phantom power use- unplug your devices. That can be a pain though if you have gobs of stuff connected to power strips in hard to reach areas. That is where smart power strips come in. |

Anyone who has used a GPS device knows that the worst part about GPS navigation is out of date maps. Most all GPS devices offer some method of updating the maps be it with DVDs or taking the GPS unit inside and connecting it to your computer. These methods each have some degree of bother to them. Dash Navigation has become the first GPS maker to offer wireless over-the-air updates for its GPS system. The Dash Express gets the ability to receive wireless updates over-the-air via Wi-Fi. That means that users can apply updates for features and maps simply by turning the Dash Express on. |
Mimobot Series 3 Star Wars Drives Coming to a Galaxy Far, Far Away

There seems to be no end to the lengths George Lucas is willing to go to whore out my childhood icons. Case in point is the fact that you can find Star Wars characters plastered on all sorts of gear. Sure some of the Star Wars gear is cool, but some of it is of dubious value to the geek community as a whole. One of the things that I don’t care to see my beloved Star Wars icons on is the Mimobot line. The Mimobot Series 2 included some of the most recognizable icons from Star Wars including Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fet, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper and R2-D2. |
