Any Windows user has had their system crash at one point or another. Far more often that Microsoft would like to admit, a crash leads to the inability to start the computer back up. Short of reformatting your PC, a recovery disk could be the only chance of saving the data on the computer and getting back to work. The catch is that the majority of users never make rescue discs and can’t access the commands needed to try and repair a faulty system. Kingston and Symantec have announced a new flash drive that puts software needed to try and repair a Windows PC on the flash drive. |

Flash drives all tend to be pretty similar and not all that attractive. You can get some small drives that are very portable, but they tend to give up storage space for the small size. Super Talent has announced a new flash drive that is cool looking and has lots of storage. The drive is called the PICO-C Gold and is covered in 24-carat gold plate and includes a sturdy gold chain to hang it from. The drive is small at 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3,4mm but pack sin 8GB of storage. The drive is also water and shock resistant. |

There seems to be no end to the lengths George Lucas is willing to go to whore out my childhood icons. Case in point is the fact that you can find Star Wars characters plastered on all sorts of gear. Sure some of the Star Wars gear is cool, but some of it is of dubious value to the geek community as a whole. One of the things that I don’t care to see my beloved Star Wars icons on is the Mimobot line. The Mimobot Series 2 included some of the most recognizable icons from Star Wars including Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fet, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper and R2-D2. |
